Dragon Teeth Warriors by JPCopper Dragon Teeth Warriors by JPCopper
According to Greek mythology, when you sow a dragon's tooth inside the Earth, a ferocious warrior will spring forth (they're called spartoi). I found a few dragon teeth yesterday, and this is the result. They're tiny but dangerous!

I hand-crafted this copper sculpture using several wire widths. The spear tips are created from a broken penny. In these pictures, I fastened the sculpture to an old candy pail, but it can be fastened to just about anything. Not including the base, it stands approzimately 9 inches high.

I love this one, the movement is great. I really like how you use wound up copper as a base and how the copper lines are bent.

thanks :)
i thought the wire in the back looked a little messy.. i guess i couldnt get it to look how it did in my head. it'll probably be one of those things i re-do later
but the fluidity is one of the aspects that i think works well

LOL This is great! OK, so I'm sure others are wondering (or I'm slow....) what are dragon teeth in "real" world?
