Crypt Jewel by JPCopper Crypt Jewel by JPCopper
This tiny skull (approximately 2 inches high) is crafted from thin copper wire wound tightly around a thick wire frame. It is completely hand-crafted, very sturdy, and has ten pointy teeth. He makes a unique desktop decoration - just don't stare into his eye sockets too long, or something may stare back at you.

i love it! it's really cool that you can make things so very tiny! i have, at this moment, the little skeleton due in an ity bity bottle, that you gave me when i bought the dog, or was it the necklace? either way i think he's a pretty groovy dude! my hands shake because of the medications i take :( but it (strangely) doesn't seem to effect my drawing (???) or my painting, since it's so abstract, i don't do anything super detailed in it, but when i try to take photos, i cannot get it to focus cause i can't keep my hands still. grrr...it drives effin nuts! i just bought a large format scanner, to try to avoid the issue. :)

i'm going to request this for the sculpture folders of spirals and swirls and deviated path. you should totally submit more of your work to them! :) oh and thanks bunches for the anniversary wish. :D

my pleasure. i really like your work, every time i see something new i think, oooo! i want that. lol! someday you'll bankrupt me. :)

i have thought about getting a tripod, i think that might work. i've never used one, but i could probably get used to it fairly quickly. did i mention the scanner? my first effort to solve this problem was to buy a large format scanner. it should be here wednesday (got it from amazon), i can't wait! i could even use it to scan some of my smaller paintings! where there's a will there's a way (damn i hate it when a cliche just seems to say exactly what you want to say, i guess that's why thery're cliches! :)

how are you?

cool, it would be interesting to see a skull basket like this that you could hide something in.

hmm maybe 5 inches high, that should give you enough room to put one little small item or picture in it.
